What is your wedding photography style?
My instincts leads me to a relaxed, natural and non-traditional approach. I am an engaged but unobtrusive observer with an eye for intimate details and candid moments. My repertoire includes formal set-ups as well because they are an integral part of any record of family history. But the most treasured images are often those that capture the spirit and emotion of the day. The special dynamic you bring to each moment is what I, with my camera, am drawn to. Do you shoot black & white and color?
Yes.  I check with my clients to get an idea of the ratio of color to black and white, and follow those preferences. Any color image can be changed to black and white now using software.
 
What are your prices for weddings?
My prices begin at $2200 and include web posting of images and a custom designed album or coffee table book.  Please inquire and we can discuss your specific needs.
 
Do you do engagement photos?
Yes. You can add this to your wedding package for a reduced fee. I work on location either in your home or in a special place of your choosing.

Do you provide negatives/image files?
 
Yes.  An image CD may be purchased.
 
Where are you located? Do you travel?
I split my time between Galiano Island, BC and the San Francisco Bay Area, California.  I am available for weddings in both areas including:   the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Southern Gulf Islands, and San Francisco to Carmel and Napa.  Travel fees may apply.

What are your fees for portrait sessions?
The standard portrait fee for a family, baby, pet, or any combination thereof is $250. This includes photography in black and white and/or color and a delightful, custom designed book of proofs for you to keep.  I work on location either in your home or in a special place of your choosing. Travel fees may apply, please inquire. Image CD’s are available for an additional fee.
 
What equipment do you use?
I use a combination of digital and film equipment.  All cameras, lenses and lighting are professional quality and made by Nikon.
